So I haven't done this in a while. This weekend was great. Kings Island was fun as expected even though I'm klutzy and dense. We arrived at Kings Island only for me to realize that I had left behind our papers that I printed out online where I had purchased mine and Melanie's season passes. I brought my backpack with me and before we left Melanie told me to take everything out of my backpack that I didn't need since it was a little full. Well I grabbed all my school papers that were in one pocket and threw them out on the floor in my room. It wasn't until I was getting out of the truck in KI parking lot that I realized the pass papers were in with my school papers. Luckily they were able to still process everything with just an ID so we still were able to get our passes and get into the park. If not I might still have Melanie's foot stuck up my ass <3.
Once in the park we got a locker to put my backpack in and inside there was a piece of paper that was the start of a scavenger hunt. The problem was that when we found where we were supposed to be there was nothing else. Apparently the scavenger hunt was later year. I think Melanie is secretly plotting to assassinate key member of Cargill (the company who's name was on the paper).
When we first got into the park it wasn't actually open yet and we walked up to the gates were everyone was standing. We noticed a sign that said gold pass entrance and were confused at first and we walked up there and showed them our passes and they waved us through. We left all the losers behind us as we ran off to go find our first ride. Melanie was very brave and rode Drop Zone for me (my favorite ride). I was proud of her as she's not too fond of heights and especially when it's that open with nothing surrounding you.
We ended up riding about 4 rides with no wait in the area around Drop Zone and it was awesome. We road Delirium and as it was at the top of its arch I noticed something falling to the ground. I thought oh shit lol there goes someone's cell phone until I realized it was my cell phone. I actually reached after it even though it was already 30-40 ft away from me so that was rather pointless. Luckily my phone landed in the only area of grass around and someone picked it up and handed it to me after the ride was over. The phone was actually fine, the battery just popped out when it hit the ground and the person put it back in.
Later on we got hungry so I bought a hamburger and some fries to eat while we waited in line for Vortex. We at most of the burger and some of the fries before the rest ended up on the ground. Apparently I wasn't paying attention when handing everything to Melanie and didn't let her get a grip on everything before I let go, so the whole thing fell over upside down on the ground. I dodged a foot up the ass earlier but I only escaped this time by the skin of my teeth.
We of course road The Beast and I think we both have too many back problems to do such things and we were sure to comment on it with each ride that warned that you should not ride if you have back or neck problems. Melanie actually ended up feeling better after riding The Beat. I was lucky to come out feeling the same as I did going in given my previous experiences and the pain that ensued.
Later that night was a lot of fun :P and we went to Outback Steakhouse which was really good. Recently I've started getting steak at restaurants and I don't think I'll ever go back to burgers.
Sunday was an exciting reading day. I read some for class and a lot of the first Harry Potter book (will be finished with it tonight) so that Melanie would be motivated to read as well. She reads like twice as fast as me and finished on of her anthro books from front to back that day. That same day I also went out to see what Dexter was barking at for the last half hour (yes very annoying) and found a rather large snake. I managed to find a branch and after about 10-15 minutes of prodding coaxed it out of its hiding spot to show everyone as it dangled from my branch. Being the nice animal loving person that I am I set it free where Dexter couldn't kill it although he did manage to bite it once and promptly ran away. He also tried jumping and snapping at it as I held it on the branch just out of his reach.

oh em gee Indy 500 next weekend, I'm excited. I'm going to be very jealous. I can't stand watching other people drive as my dream is to be a professional driver, preferably F1 or GT.

Ummmm.. the end?

You scored as atheism. You are... an atheist, though you probably already knew this. Also, you probably have several people praying daily for your soul.

Instead of simply being "nonreligious," atheists strongly believe in the lack of existence of a higher being, or God.

One of my best purchases ever. The pedals on my old wheel were a piece of shit and finally broke so I bought this one as a replacement. Only took about 3 weeks to get because they just came out and were on backorder. Having an analog clutch takes sim racing to a whole new level. No more auto clutch where the game blips the throttle for you. Heel-Toe downshifting = not easy. I've been practicing in my truck for a couple weeks now and I still suck.

I have my own place and it's on campus. This means I don't have to spend 8 hours a week driving between home, work, and class. I'll also save a shat load on gas. Best of all, I have my own place! :) Now I just have to buy a bunch of crap and move it all in there. Food and sheets for my bed would be a good start.

edit: Forgot to mention, It's about a mile from campus and it's brand new, never lived in, and there's a movie theater where you can watch your own movies, a fitness center, tanning beds, a pool, couple hot tubs, couple pool tables, a foosball table, lighted basketball court, and sand volleyball.

I really want to play some backyard football but I don't know anywhere near that many people. Someone get together some people and then we can play on certain days.

I feel as though I've lost two friends, one of which can't even talk. Awesome, back to reality where I have nothing to do and no one to do it with.

Only two full days between now and Friday when Melanie will be back for almost two whole months. Mabie she can help me actually meet new people for the first time in years (although I've already met the 1 person who matters most) :)

If your building an XMLHttpRequest and are wondering why the request isn't being sent, make sure you actually sent the request to begin with. There went about 3 hours between today and yesterday down the drain. I probably would have noticed sooner if I didn't define my functions in-line that get called when the ready state changes sense the send just kinda hangs out way below where the request is first built. Some things you just kinda kick yourself and the only thing you can do is laugh.

I just had my yearly review today. 31% pay increase, I rule you! I also get my quarterly bonus soon. I'm glad all this is coming in at once because I'm broke. Mabie I can start karting again soon.

1. Reply and I'll write something about you.

2. I will then tell you what song/movie reminds me of you.

3. I will say something that only makes sense to you and me.

4. I will tell you my favorite memory of you.

5. I will tell you what animal you remind me of.

6. I'll then tell you something that I've always wondered about you.

7. Then post this in your own journal...
